I'm so pleased to have been commissioned by WISEST (Women in Scholarship, Engineering, Science and Technology) to paint this piece in in honour of their founder, Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour. WISEST is an organization focused on empowering women (and other underrepresented groups) to pursue, impact, and succeed in the fields of science, engineering, and technology by offering an array of programming for students in grade 6 all the way to grade 12. I love the work they do to support our future generation of leaders!
I'm excited to share that prints of the painting are now available in my online shop. 100% the proceeds from the print will be donated to WISEST. The name of the painting, "Go And Meet Your Dreams" is an exert from a quote from Dr. Armour:
"I give you my greatest wish - to go and meet your dreams"
