Sand Dunes III | Fine Art Print
"Sand dunes have become some of my favourite landscapes to paint. I'm not sure if it's the fine grains of sand that fill the space between my toes when I climb them, the promise of crashing waves just over their edge, or the greenery that bends back and forth with the wind like my hair coming loose from its bun. It's called beachgrass, by the way. We plant it on dunes to prevent the wind and water from eroding the sand. What a perfect relationship. Its sole reason for being is to protect the land that keeps it rooted and alive. If only we could all find such noble purpose."
This is an archival fine art print reproduction (giclee) made to order from my studio in Edmonton, Alberta on unstretched matte canvas. Each print is stamped with my monogram on the back.
