COLLECTION: FIELD NOTES (2025)

Every fall, I release a collection of smaller works. This year, I'm sharing paintings inspired by places I explored over the past twelve months. Most were painted en plein air on location, and a few began as studies that grew into finished pieces.

These pieces, called Field Notes, often act as seeds for my larger works which, I guess, you could then call trees :) They're vulnerable and personal because they capture not only what I observe in the moment, but how I feel in that space at that time. The more I grow as an artist, the more important this yearly collection becomes to me as a consistent reminder of the beauty and fragility of our natural world. For me, it carries a responsibility to be a good steward of these natural spaces if I want the seeds I paint today to eventually become the trees I paint tomorrow.

What Collectors Are Saying

“I love the pop of colour it gives our house! I am totally obsessed. I asked my husband if it’s weird if our whole house can just be Amy Dixon artwork.”
